Key Neville Whitehead, a Jackson, Mississippi native, is a multi-talented artist with a southern vogue flare. An undeniable style was born between her early years in graphic design and visual arts at The University of Mississippi Art Department and her New York City days in the fashion world.
Her chic creativity and personality were used in media, communications & artistic development at Sarah Laird Artist Representative. Also, in Key’s multifaceted art world she and her partner created a Stationary Company called “Get Carded” where they designed and customized personalized illustrations “work’s of art” specifically for each customer.
She especially enjoys capturing special moments for families with her abstract acrylic portraits, as well as abstract nudes, which were inspired by a live nude figure drawing class at The Mississippi Museum of Art. Key’s large abstracts are currently inspired by her work travels to Natchez, Mississippi and long drives along the Natchez Trace viewing old buildings, barns and landscapes.
She has been featured in both Northside Sun and Portico Jackson magazine as a “Rising Artist”. Key feels extremely blessed to have a lifetime passion and love for art and honored to share her God given gift with others.
